Komatsu HB215 Hybrid Fuel saving VS Komatsu PC210LC-8 February the 24th was the date, Ridgway HQ was the place, one highly trained operator was hand pick from many potential applicants. A Komatsu HB215 Hybrid was  going to tested against a komatsu PC210LC-8, to find out how much fuel the 215 would save compared to a standard excavator. To achieve a fair test both machines were parked in the same place the day before, on the day of the test they were both put in economy mode and had the aircon off. One at a time they were tracked 100yards to our test area were they worked for 1 hour, both machines did exactly the same work. After the test Komatsu’s Komtrax system was used to provide average fuel consumption. The results proved a significant fuel saving from the hybrid, if your company requires the use of green technology to reduce fuel usage and improve sustainability or if you just want to save money on fuel a Komatsu HB215 Hybrid is a must for you. we have the actual data from our tests, if you want to now more please give us a call
