So many of us are adapting to working from home now along with looking after and schooling our children – many of the Ridgway staff are doing just that!
We have come up with a few ways to keep you entertained as a family whilst staying safe at home. We would love to share your creations to bring some colour to our world as we all go through this together.

Colour-in an NHS Rainbow for our Trucks
The whole country is feeling proud of our NHS & Keyworkers at this time and the bright colours of the rainbow are filling our windows as a thank you to them
We would love to display your pictures in our trucks so we can show our support to the wonderful work our NHS & keyworkers continue to do – our drivers have to keep on delivering – so adding a bit of colour to their cabs would be great

This word search is a ‘just for fun’ activity to do, but if you want to send it in to us, please do along with your details and we will try to arrange a way of sending out some caps or goodies when we are all back to normal – but can’t promise to –
Make a Salt Dough Rainbow Hand Print Keepsake
Ingredients:
500g of plain flour
250g salt
250mls of water (add slightly more water if necessary)
Instructions:
- Mix the flour and salt then add the water
- Mix into a dough
- Roll out onto flat surface into desired shape about 1-1.5cm thick (remember to sprinkle some flour down to prevent sticking)
- Place on a baking tray
- Make hand imprints (as deep/clear as possible)
- Bake in oven on lowest heat for 3-4 hours or until rock hard and completely solid top and bottom
(Alternatively you can leave to air dry for a couple of days in a cool dry place) - Once dry, paint with your choice of paints/colours
Seal with any kind of varnish or sealer to preserve it. (Varnish, Mod Podge or PVA and water mix)

Bully and his union jack design is famous nationwide – have a go at designing your very own Bully! It doesn’t have to be a bullnose truck, it can be anything you like . . the choice is yours
You can design it on paper, on the computer or even out of lego!
