As you may remember our beloved truck ‘Bully’ has been decommissioned for sometime since his last appearance at the late Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Since then ‘Bully’ has been tucked away in the corner of our workshop, rusting away, gathering dust and feeling pretty unloved. Last month we announced that in celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III, Ridgway Rentals had decided to commission a project to restore ‘Bully’ to his former glory.

Ridgway Rentals are pleased to announce that works have now begun on ‘Bully’. The first jobs to be undertaken are to drain the diesel as it has been sat there for a number of years, as well as clean the fuel lines and replace ‘Bully’s’ batteries so he can be powered up again!

The intention is to use ‘Bully’ for shows that we attend in the future as ‘Bully’ has been used for in the past.

“This is a really exciting project for us and I look forward to seeing the progress made on ‘Bully’ and hope others will follow the journey” – Stuart Jones (Managing Director)
