Tyre Fitter

We are currently looking for a tyre fitter
This is a full-time position based in our workshop in St. Martins, Shropshire but will involve travelling to sites all over the UK as required along with emergency cover.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out weekly tyre checks on our fleet of trucks
- Accurately complete all necessary tyre reports
- Carry out checks and repairs to tyres on all our wheeled fleet
- Travel anywhere in the UK to carry out repairs off-site as required
- Emergency cover for truck fleet
- Working diligently and to a high standard to ensure vehicles are roadworthy
- Comply fully with company health & safety procedures
- Follow work practices and instructions as directed
The successful candidate will hold a FULL UK driving licence, be competent in all elements of tyre fitting and be willing to carry out other duties as required.

- A self-motivated person who can work well within a team environment
- Good organisation skills
- An enthusiastic work attitude
- Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred
- Ability to operate plant machinery an advantage
