West Mid Show in Ridgway History
Posted Tuesday May 21st 2019As the Shropshire County Agricultural Show (or West Mid Show as formerly known!) quickly approaches, we have been busy preparing for our stand and discovered these wonderful old pictures belonging to our company founder Bob Jones – RAJ (Mechanisations) Ltd.

The pictures are of our company stand back in the early 1960’s showing a selection of early JCB machines. Back in those days, the farmers would come from miles around hoping to discover the latest in farm techniques and machinery, meet the suppliers and even settle their dues for the previous year!
Returning after 50 Years
So, it looks like we are returning after 50 years to show the farming community and people of Shropshire a selection of plant hire machinery from our fleet along with some of our used machinery for sale. We look forward to meeting & greeting you all, so please come and find us!

Our stand is in the machinery section with a selection of our Plant Hire Fleet on display including one of our latest JCB 13 Ton Excavators, some telehandlers available to buy plus lots of refreshments and goodies and even a competition!
