Skilled / Semi-skilled Service Engineer

We are currently looking for a skilled or semi-skilled service engineer.
Based in our workshop in St. Martins, this position involves the servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy plant machinery.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out pre-hire inspections
- Maintenance and fitting duties on a wide range of plant machinery
- Carry out mechanical repairs including cutting and welding as required
- Follow instructions as directed
- Keep accurate records as directed
- Aid with the safe operation of the work area
- Comply fully with company health & safety procedures
- Follow work practices and instructions as directed
Our Plant Hire Fleet consists of hydraulic excavators, dozers, dump trucks and other heavy plant machinery by Komatsu, JCB, Hitachi etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A self-motivated person with good communication skills who can work well within a team environment.
- A flexible working attitude with an enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
- Previous experience and the ability to use welding equipment is an advantage
Salary will depend on experience
Full time hours plus overtime
