TRANSPORT ASSISTANT

WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE A TRANSPORT ASSISTANT AT RIDGWAY RENTALS

Ridgway Rentals is a family owned, and run, Plant Hire Company and this position is based at our head office in St Martins, Shropshire

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General administrative duties within the transport department
Assisting with transport planning and routing
Submitting abnormal load movement orders
Monitoring of drivers hours
Maintain vehicle maintenance records
Monitor timesheets and expenses

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Computer literate
Good telephone manner
The ability to work as part of a team
Be reliable, self-motivated and willing to work hard
Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided

Full training will be provided for the role of transport assistant –

Permanent position
Full Time – hours of work to be agreed
Progression opportunities
Good rate of pay
