This week seen the arrival of new wheeled excavators! Two brand new Hitachi ZX170W-6 wheeled excavators were collected from Hitachi to add to the fleet.

These latest additions are just a part of the large order made with Hitachi following the success of the first Hitachi’s added to the Ridgway fleet earlier this year.

Hitachi ZX170W-6 Wheeled Excavator
The new Hitachi ZX170W-6 wheeled excavator is powered with a 128 kW or 164 HP engine rated power capable of a 108 kN bucket digging force. It also provides a maximum digging depth of 4 960-5 720 mm and an operating weight settled on 17 000-19 100 kg.

The ZX170W-6 is the ideal machine when working in urban areas and on roads & surfaces to prevent the damage usually created by crawler excavators.
