Team Ridgway Enter Oswestry 10K
Posted Monday October 5th 2026The Ridgway team is taking on the Oswestry 10K, putting their fitness, determination and competitive spirit to the ultimate test. But there’s a twist… Any employee who crosses the finish line ahead of the boss will earn an extra day off! That means there’s more than just bragging rights on the line. With an additional day of annual leave up for grabs, the race is officially ON.
The Oswestry 10k, taking place on Sunday 11th October 2026, brings together an active community of people taking part in sporting events for reasons ranging from fitness, competition, charity, health, fun or to simply finish. Ridgway Rentals is now a supporting partner with the Oswestry 10K organiser, Adrenaline Sporting Events. This means you’ll see Team Ridgway and Ridgway banners at events throughout the year.
Managing Director, Stuart Jones explains ‘There’s a real buzz in the office, whether it’s shaing personal fitness goals or simply encouraging each other to stay active and healthy. Signing up to the Oswestry 10K as a business has encouraged healthy habits to improve fitness and welbeing.’
From early-morning training runs to some serious pre-race preparation, there’s already plenty of competitive spirit building within the team. One thing is for certain – when the starting gun goes, everyone will have the same target – BEAT THE BOSS!
Good luck to everyone taking part in the Oswestry 10K. Run hard, support the team, and most importantly… don’t let the boss get away!
