The Club is a great focal point for the local community and offers both activities and a social environment for all ages and all abilities.
Supporting our Youths
The support the club offer for the local youth community is tremendous, with a thriving junior section with weekly coaching as well as running the All Stars Cricket programme, they really do support their young players.
The club also run a great and active social scene away from cricket including Spinning Classes, Golf Days, World Cup Matches, Firework Night, Beer Festival plus the yearly Ladies Ascot Day! It is also the venue for The Shropshire Chamber of Commerce to hold their fortnightly Breakfast Meetings!
Even with the hard work and dedication of the players and committee members, the club still needs financial support to keep going. At Ridgway, we commend such commitment and like to encourage local sports as much as we can.
We strongly believe in giving back to our local community and are proud supporters of other local clubs, organisations and charitable causes as well as being main sponsor for the local Oswestry Show this year.
