Posted Wednesday March 10th 2021The arrival of a new Volvo truck for plant haulage at Ridgway Rentals follows from the successful addition of two Volvo trucks in 2019.
With a payload of 40 ton and gross weight of 65 ton, this latest new Volvo truck is more than capable of handling the loads demanded of it on a daily basis.

This latest Volvo FH 500 comes with a full spec including Durabrites, Kelsa Lighting, Spillard Safety camera system along with a microwave, TV, fridge to keep our drivers happy
This will be coupled with a brand new 4 axle Faymonville trailer, due in next week.
Ridgway supply plant hire all across the UK so our trucks are worked hard transporting our plant machinery nationwide.
We also offer a haulage service transporting plant machinery and various other loads

These Volvo trucks were supplied by Hartshorne Motor Services Ltd. and delivered by Andy Gray (pictured with Rob Jones, Ridgway Transport Director) This latest addition to the fleet will be looked after by the team at Hartshorne Shrewsbury.
New Volvo Truck for Plant Haulage Fleet
We have a variety of plant transportation equipment in our haulage fleet including 7.5 ton rigids up to a 100 ton articulated lorries with low loaders, step frames, fully equipped escort vehicles.
We can transport all types of vehicles and plant machinery such as mini diggers up to 50 ton excavators, dozers, dump trucks, loading shovels, telehandlers etc. We also transport agricultural machinery and other heavy vehicles including HGVs.
