Open For Plant Hire with New Procedures

All plant machinery is:

• Thoroughly cleaned and disinfected when collected from site
• Again, when arriving at our depot
• Again, when our engineers start pre-hire inspections
• Again, when engineers finish pre-hire inspections
• Again, one last time when delivered by our own drivers to the customer

All machines will undergo a minimum of five thorough cleans to ensure we can operate a safe service to all the industries we serve.

Hire Desk & Service Desk Remains Open

As a supplier to the key sectors, Ridgway have remained open to support all these vital industries during the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak. Not all industries have been able to stop and we have been available to offer support to these essential services.

This has included reducing staffing numbers in the depot, allowing staff who are able to work remotely from home, to do so, shielding our vulnerable staff members and adopting new working practices for those who continue to work on site.

Plant Transport & Service Engineers for Plant Repairs Continues at Ridgway

Our drivers continue to collect & deliver plant machinery with new procedures in place to ensure social distancing and high levels of hygiene are adhered to for the safety of everyone.

Likewise, our service engineers continue to carry out mobile plant repairs with new procedures to the many key sectors that are not able to just stop including Agriculture, Waste, Recycling, Utilities, Construction etc.

Used Plant Sales – Thoroughly Cleaned Machines

At Ridgway, we realise that customers still need to buy used plant. You can be assured that all machines sold by Ridgway have gone through the same thorough clean as above and our social distancing procedures can be in place for delivery of these machines.

We are able to offer video calling to enable a full virtual viewing of our machines along with videos of machines in working mode and close ups to areas requested. Our rent to buy options can also be actioned in the same way
